The hotel was located near to Lynchburg near the Jack Daniels distillery and Tolley house and the Tolley House and the square. The idea to include an electric kettle, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator in the suite was nice. The service was excellent, the food was great! Besides, the parking was on-site.

The rooms at Tolley House were absolutely charming, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As a family with two small kids, we felt right at home. The private bathrooms in the guestrooms were a great convenience, allowing us to have our own space and privacy. The luxurious pillow top mattresses with featherbeds were so comfortable that we had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. We loved the vintage vibe of Miss Ethel's Room, especially the bathroom with its unique pink tiles handpicked by Miss Ethel herself. The parlor and front porch were perfect spots to relax and enjoy the day, rocking away in the comfortable chairs.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the pink tile in the bathroom, but I understand that some people might find it charming and nostalgic.

During our stay, we were impressed with the historic charm and beautifully furnished rooms at this B&B. The bed in Lem's bedroom was extremely comfortable and the dual aspect windows provided lovely morning light. Lindsey's warm welcome and Vicky's exceptional hospitality truly stood out. They even went above and beyond by returning our forgotten phone chargers! The local recommendations for a fantastic barbecue spot were spot on. We were thoroughly satisfied with the breakfast options offered in the kitchen, including a choice of cereals and bagels. The attention to detail and personal touches made our stay memorable.
Moreover, the limited dining choices in the area were a downside, especially when we were only provided with cereal and spoiled milk for breakfast. Despite these small inconveniences, we still enjoyed our overall experience at this charming B&B.

The rooms here are pretty spacious, which is a big plus. They come with a shower and towels, so you're all set in that department. The price was a bit on the higher side at US$350, but for what you get, it's not too bad. 🛁.
